Dr. Debabrata Das is an Associate Professor in the area of Analytics and Data Science at the Indian Institute of Management Mumbai, India. Prior to this, he was an Assistant Professor at the Indian Institute of Management Kashipur. He received his Ph.D. from the Shailesh J. Mehta School of Management, Indian Institute of Technology Bombay. Before pursuing his Ph.D., he completed his Master’s degree from the Department of Mathematics, Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, and worked as a Risk Analyst at Citigroup Global Services Ltd.

His research and teaching interests are in the areas of Analytics and Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Generative AI and Agentic AI, Supply Chain Modelling and Optimization, Multi-Objective Optimization, Circular Economy, Quick Commerce, and Humanitarian Logistics. His work increasingly focuses on the integration of AI, data-driven analytics, and optimization for business and supply chain decision-making. He has published his research in reputed international journals and case publishing outlets such as Transportation Research Part E: Logistics and Transportation Review, International Journal of Production Economics, International Journal of Production Research, Computers & Industrial Engineering, IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management, Journal of Multi-Criteria Decision Analysis, and Ivey Publishing, among others.

He is actively engaged in executive education, industry training, and consultancy projects. Prof. Vivekanand B Khanapuri is a prominent academic and industry expert, serving as a Professor of Operations & Supply Chain Management at the renowned Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Mumbai. With a strong academic background and extensive practical experience and a career spanning 35+ years, he has excelled in academia, research, and industry engagements.

Prof. Khanapuri's teaching engagements at PG and Doctoral level span across various subjects; Strategic Project Management, Portfolio and Program Management, Strategic Sourcing, Strategic New Product Development, Information Technology Applications and Business Process Reengineering, Enterprise Asset Management, Productivity engineering and Management, Business & Engineering Economics, shaping the next generation of engineering and management leaders over the past three decades.

His research primarily focuses on Operations and Supply Chain Management, with a specific emphasis on Project Management & Supply Chain Management, contributing valuable insights to contemporary organizational challenges. Prof. Khanapuri is a recognized authority in Industrial Consulting, offering expertise in areas Strategic Management, Sourcing, Productivity, Lean Thinking, Industrial Engineering, Value Engineering, Project Management, Maintenance Management, and Logistics & Supply Chain Management. Prof. Khanapuri's has earlier held key leadership roles as, Advisor to IT infrastructure, Member Estate management, Chair Institute Standing committee for Procurement, Warden Hostels, Student activities, Dean (Academic) and was the member of the Core Team for the design, development and launch of Visionary Leadership Program in Manufacturing (VLFM).

Prof. Sushmita Narayana Aghalaya is a faculty member in the Operations & Supply Chain Management Area at IIM Mumbai, where she serves as the Genpact Associate Chair Professor and is the Chairperson, Business Development. She specializes in teaching subjects such as Operations Research, Supply Chain Management, Transportation, Logistics, Large-Scale Optimization, and Data Analytics.

Sushmita is passionate about training and working on large-scale projects with high-performing teams. She has conducted training programs for prominent companies like Mahindra Logistics, Adani Energy Solutions, GATI, Unilever, Coromandel, DoPT, DRDO, ONGC and Tata Steel, and has taught at TAPMI Manipal, IIM Sirmaur and IIM Kozhikode. Her research and consultancy projects focus on areas such as commercial aviation planning, warehousing, productivity measurement & improvement, sustainable packaging and reverse logistics using data-driven analytics and optimisation. Sushmita has collaborated with organizations like the World Bank, Air Asia, and Genpact. Her research work has been published in esteemed journals like the European Journal of Operational Research, the Journal of Cleaner Production and the Journal of Purchasing & Supply Management. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Production Engineering and a doctorate (FPM) from IIM Kozhikode. She was selected and carried out the Summer Research Fellowships at Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research (JNCASR), Bangalore and the Shastri-Indo-Canadian Institute Internship at HEC Montreal, Canada.
