- Ashok Banerjee Professor, IIM Calcutta Prof. Ashok Banerjee received his Ph.D. from Rajasthan University. He takes several advanced courses in Finance like Financial Accountancy, Financial Management; Mergers and Acquisitions, Corporate Finance, Corporate Restructuring, Behavioural Finance, Quantitative Applications in Finance and Trading Strategies. He is the author of the book Financial Accounting: A Managerial Emphasis which is widely used as a text book in Finance and Accountancy courses in Indian Business schools. He has also authored several research papers such as Integration of Global Capital Markets: An Empirical Exploration and Value Premium in Indian Equity Market: an Empirical Evidence in major Finance & Management research journals. He is also the faculty in-charge of the Finance Research and Trading Lab at IIM Calcutta.
- Saibal Chattopadhyay Professor, IIM Calcutta Prof. Saibal Chattopadhyay received his Ph.D. in Statistics from the University of Connecticut, Storrs, U.S.A. Most of his acclaimed research works are based on Sequential Methods in Estimation and Selection and Ranking Problems, Inference on Finite Population and Survey Sampling, Multistage Sampling Methods in Environmental Health, and Clinical Studies. He has authored several prestigious research journals on topics centered around Sequential Analysis (Statistics). He served as a consultant for various national projects undertaken by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, and Ministry of Agriculture and Co-operation, GoI. He has also taught at the leading educational institutions in India and U.S.A. He has served as the Director of IIM Calcutta from 2013 to 2018. Currently, he is a Professor in the Operations Management Group at IIM Calcutta.
