CODE OF CONDUCT


All participants are expected to adhere and comply with the policies prescribed in this Code of Conduct. Non-adherence to this document will be looked into seriously and will be met with appropriate disciplinary action. TalentSprint regularly reviews its internal procedures and policies and as a result, the contents of this document may change from time to time. Without prejudice to any stipulation herein or except wherein specifically mentioned otherwise, TalentSprint reserves the right to modify or terminate any of the policies described herein at its discretion by issuing a written notification of the change or by issuing an amendment to this Code of Conduct. Except where provided otherwise and without prejudice to any stipulation herein to the contrary, TalentSprint alone reserves the right to make an exception to any of the contents in Code of Conduct.

Part A: Etiquette and Platform Rights

I. Etiquette & General Policy Guidelines

  1. All the sessions of the program will be as per the class schedule. The schedule of sessions will be communicated separately. Participants (referred to as ‘You’ or ‘Participant’ henceforth) are expected to be very punctual.
  2. As part of health, safety and regulatory needs and measures recommended/mandated by the government from time to time, the participants are required to strictly follow the various safety measures.
  3. The Classes shall be held on TalentSprint’s interactive live online platform as per program details. The tea-breaks and/or lunch-break are allotted during the sessions (any change in the break timings shall be communicated separately). The timings will be strictly followed, and Participants must return before the start of the next session.
  4. Mobile phones must be switched to silent/vibrate/airplane mode during session timings or preferably switched off. In case of any emergency calls please walk out of the classroom quietly to attend to your calls. However, emergency situations naturally cannot be very often. Fiddling with mobile phones, engaging on social media or sending SMSs during classroom hours is strictly prohibited. Please avoid internet browsing when the sessions are in progress unless a session activity specifically requires you to do so.
  5. Participants shall ensure adequate internet connection for effective online learning on TalentSprint’s interactive live online platform. Any kind of misuse will be considered as violation of this Code of Conduct Policy. Usage of internet services by the Participant shall be in strict adherence to the Network and Internet Usage Policy of TalentSprint.
  6. It is important for the benefit of all Participants that the sessions are held in the sequence of the curriculum, as optimal learning requires exposure to concepts in a sequential manner. Hence Participants with prior knowledge of any topic are requested to consult with the mentors only during the breaks to clarify and discuss advanced items of their interest.
  7. Participants are required to observe all safety rules and any applicable codes of safe working practice at all times. This includes departmental safety policies and safety regulations and reporting of any safety issues to your instructor/or member of staff.
  8. Participants are required to familiarize themselves with emergency and fire exits of the premises.
  9. TalentSprint prohibits all forms of bribery. In particular, we prohibit offering, promising, giving or authorizing others to give anything of value, either directly or indirectly, to any party in order to gain an unfair business advantage, such as obtaining or retaining business.

II. Tools and Platforms in Use

  1. Multiple technology platforms will be used for effective and efficient communication and collaboration outside the classroom. All Participants must use these systems. The respective login accounts will be created and shared for the provided systems as and when required.
  2. All program materials and topics discussed in session will be uploaded on TalentSprint’s Learning Management System (“ LMS”) based on OpenEdx. The LMS will also function as a forum for discussion. Participants are required to actively participate on the LMS and upload as many questions as possible. Other participants can answer these questions apart from the mentors and professors. Any requests relating to session material and so forth must be requested through the LMS.
  3. We will be using relevant tools/platforms from time to time to conduct classes, boot camps, lab experiments, tests, projects, workshops competitions and assignments.
  4. Wufoo/Google/SurveyMonkey: These may be used to collect program feedback on various aspects. The feedback will be collected from time to time and responses are mandatory. Please note that the feedback provided will enable us to strengthen and bring to you a high-quality program. Participants support in this regard will also enable us to do the same for future programs.
  5. All the Online sessions and classroom sessions are recorded and will be uploaded on the LMS within 2-3 working days. The videos, program content, tests, projects, assignments, etc uploaded on the LMS are for your personal reference ONLY. Participants are strictly prohibited from sharing any of the program materials or details with any person who is not a participant to the program.

III. Tools and Platforms: Terms of Use

  1. TalentSprint provides the Participants access to its online services and software for the specific purpose of this program. The Terms of Use constitute the agreement between you and TalentSprint in relation to your use of the services. By using this services you indicate your acknowledgment and acceptance of these Terms of Use. TalentSprint reserves the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time without notice, and such changes shall be deemed effective immediately upon posting of the modified Terms of Use on the LMS. Your continued use of the service following the notice of changes will be deemed acceptance to the changes. These Terms of Use will subsist until such time you exit the LMS after browsing/use or till such time that you continue using the services.
  2. Participant is granted access to our website and programs. Participant is strictly prohibited to use it for any commercial purposes without prior written permission from TalentSprint. The program services are only provided to the registered users for the program in our system.
  3. Participant is solely responsible for the activity that occurs on her account. It is your responsibility to keep any contact information, login credentials, or course work secure. TalentSprint is not responsible for any breach of information of your account. Participant has the option to set the parameters of their interaction by modifying the information on the Settings page.
  4. By reading this document, you consent to avoiding the following including but not limited to copying, commercial use or illegal distribution of any data available to your access. You are not permitted to access any restricted services or to intervene with the smooth sailing of these Terms and Conditions.
  5. Participant is solely responsible for the following content such as contact information, comments, and questions, solutions posted on your account or anywhere on our website. It is your choice to allow other users to view or modify any content shared by you. TalentSprint reserves the right to permanently remove any content you share that it deems unfit.
  6. Participant hereby also agrees not to post content that will cause harm or loss to other users. Participant is not permitted to post any illegal content or contact information without prior consent. Participant agrees not to violate the rights and privacy of fellow user’s consequent to the content you share. TalentSprint is not responsible for the content shared by any Participant or any other user and not responsible for any content you may come across that may insult, exploit, or injure you.
  7. All the services and resources provided by TalentSprint are legally available to access ONLY for the users who have enrolled for our services. To the best of our knowledge any program material we use do not violate the rights of any third party. In case you find any such violation, please bring it to our notice to rectify the same. TalentSprint respects its user’s content and expects the users to also respect their and other user’s content.
  8. You agree that the services contains proprietary content, information and material that is protected by applicable intellectual property and other laws, including but not limited to copyright, and that you will not use such proprietary content, information or materials in any way whatsoever except for permitted use. You agree not to modify, rent, lease, loan, sell, distribute, or create derivative works of the services, in any manner, and you shall not exploit the services in any unauthorized way whatsoever, including but not limited to, by trespass or burdening network capacity. You further agree not to use the services in any manner to harass, abuse, stalk, bully, threaten, defame, impersonate, gamble, exhibit or transmit sexually explicit, pornographic, pedophilic content, promulgate hate speech, carry out illegal activities or otherwise infringe or violate the rights of any person (including other users and third parties, related or unrelated to the use of the services provided) including any patent, copyright, trademark, trade secret or other proprietary rights of such persons. You also agree that TalentSprint is not in any way responsible for any such use.
  9. When using the services, you shall not:
    1. Restrict or inhibit any other user from using or enjoying the services, including without limitation by means of hacking or defacing any portion of the services;
    2. Transmit any information that contains a virus, worm, time bomb, trojan horse or other harmful or disruptive component;
    3. Reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell or exploit for any commercial or unlawful purposes, the content of the services or any portion thereof;
    4. Remove any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary rights notices contained in the services;
    5. Frame, mirror or link any part of the services without the TalentSprint’s prior written authorization;
    6. Use any robot, spider, site search/retrieval application, or other manual or automatic device or process to retrieve, index, "data mine," or in any way reproduce or circumvent the navigational structure or presentation of the services or to retrieve or index any portion of the services or collect information about users;
    7. Use the services for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
  10. All content made available in relation to the services including but not limited to any text, images, graphics, data, database, software, video and audio belong to TalentSprint or has been licensed to TalentSprint by third parties. Any use, including the reproduction, modification, adaptation, distribution, translation, transmission, re-publication or in any other way exploitation of the services is strictly prohibited. The services are made available solely for your own personal, non-commercial and lawful use. Nothing provided in relation to the services should be considered as granting you, by implication, estoppel, or otherwise, any license or right to use any trade-marks, logos, or other names without the expressed written consent of the applicable rights holder.
  11. TalentSprint reserves the right to append or remove features from any of the services provided. Your continued use of this services following the posting of changes will indicate your acceptance to those changes. Participants reserve the right to stop using our services at any time, although we would be saddened by this.

Part B: Honor Code

  1. Throughout the tenure of this program the Participants are expected to help build a healthy and productive environment through their act of honesty, integrity, and respect in dealing with other participants and the faculty. Participants are expected to conduct themselves in accordance to the guidelines of the Honor Code as it is an indication of the relationship between the Participants and the faculty.
  2. LMS credentials and all artifacts are strictly confidential to each Participant and the Participant must not share these with anyone. Each registration is for a single user only. Therefore, we do not permit any of the following:
    1. Any other person sharing your User ID and password;
    2. Any part of the website being cached in proxy servers and accessed by individuals who have not registered with the website as a user; or
    3. Access through a single username and password being made available to multiple users on a network.
    4. Sale, trade, or transfer an account to another person, or using an account that is not originally yours. If you violate these conditions, your account will be terminated immediately.
  3. Participants are expected to be respectful of one another and avoid any condescending and discriminative behavior. It is imperative that the Participants show respect for every member of the TalentSprint community and refrain from any form of intimidation, harassment, and acts of prejudice that may infringe upon the rights of any member(s) of the community. Healthy competition is encouraged. Participants who are a part of the TalentSprint community are expected to hold themselves to high standards of discipline, tolerance, and respect. Participants who violate the ideals and behavior expected of them will be subjected to strict disciplinary action.
  4. It is imperative that during the course of the program the Participants are honest with each other. Participants are encouraged to discuss lecture material and watch lecture videos with each other but are expected to submit individual and original responses for the experiments and the questions for each experiment. For each experiment, Participants are permitted to review specific algorithms and their properties but must not look for the source code of another participant.
  5. Participants are not permitted to post repetitive, inappropriate, or promotional content on the discussions pages. If such content is found to be posted, TalentSprint reserves the right to immediately remove the same. Participants are forbidden from submitting other participants’ work as their own, fabricating credentials, cheat on any tests, collaborate with each other in violation of the ideals imposed by the faculty, and post your solution on more than one program without prior permission.
  6. Any form of unlawful collaboration or fabrication of algorithms, code, or assignment solutions must be immediately reported to the respective faculty in charge. Participants are strictly advised to avoid situations in academic settings or with academic exercises that may increase the likelihood of Honor Code violations. Participants are bound to report any infraction of the Honor Code that comes to their attention to the appropriate faculty, even if they choose to resolve the problem themselves. Participants must NOT violate any of the Honor Code terms. As members of this community, participants are required to understand that any violation of this Honor Code, whether committed knowingly or out of ignorance, can result in disciplinary action. The advancement of knowledge is impossible if these guidelines are not adhered to. New knowledge is generated only when prior knowledge is given credit and when other’s knowledge is acknowledged.
  7. The penalty for an offense may include (i) termination from the program, and/or (ii) forfeit the other benefits based on the nature of violation. There will be NO exception requests entertained for violation of the Honor Code and/or any Terms & Conditions in this Code of Conduct.
  8. Violation of the Honor Code include but are not limited to the following:
    1. Access/Sharing of any prior/present batch user credentials,
    2. Replicate/duplicate/Copy from past or current participants examination paper,
    3. Permit/allow another participant to copy from one's own paper,
    4. Unpermitted collaboration,
    5. Referencing previous batches material,
    6. Proxy Attendance,
    7. Plagiarism, revising and/or resubmitting a quiz or exam for re-grading, without the instructor's knowledge and consent,
    8. Provide or receive unpermitted aid on take-home examination. Represent the work of another as one's own work,
    9. Provide or receive aid on any academic assignment under circumstances in which a reasonable person should be aware that such aid was not permitted.

Part C: Program Policy

  1. You agree and understand that the classes will be conducted online (for a duration of 8 (eight) days of 4 (four) hours each day) on TalentSprint interactive learning platform as decided by TalentSprint.
  2. Attendance Requirement Assignment submission: 100% (Hundred Percent) attendance and submission of all assignments mandated as part of the Program, complying with the reasonable specifications, quality, standards of the Program and for the participants to benefit from the program.
  3. TalentSprint reserves the right for any final discretion in case of any possible disambiguation.
  4. Test Postponement Policy: Request to change or extend deadlines is not possible for any of the assessments or tests, the timelines communicated for each must be strictly adhered to.
  5. Program completion will not have any Certificates being awarded.
  6. TalentSprint DOES NOT provide any job assurance as part of this program and does not in any manner guarantee any interviews or jobs with any company or will yield any particular result.

You expressly agree that the services provided by TalentSprint are provided on an “as is and where is” basis. In no event shall TalentSprint or any of its subsidiaries or affiliates be liable to you or any person for any direct, indirect, special, consequential or other damages (including, without limitation, any lost profits, business interruption, loss of information or programs or other data on your information handling system) that are related to the use of, or the inability to use, the services.

NOTE:100% attendance is mandatory for you to successfully complete this program. You agree that if you miss even one (1) interactive online class of the program, TalentSprint has the right to cancel your admission and revoke your access from the learning portal with immediate effect.

Part D : Program Termination Policy

  1. TalentSprint holds absolute and sole discretion and reserves the right to programs, enrollments and schemes offered by it from time to time for specific categories of participants or based on specific dates or any other manner it had deem fit.
  2. If a participant wishes to withdraw from Program either before the commencement of the session or subsequent to the commencement of the sessions, the participant will not be eligible and will forever waive any rights in relation to the Program. You understand and agree that TalentSprint will have no liability or obligation to provide any further service, content, deliverables in relation to the Program, in case of such withdrawal. You understand and agree that you will not have any claims against TalentSprint, at law or in contract or in tort, of any nature whatsoever, in India or elsewhere in the world, arising out of my participation and withdrawal from the Program.
  3. Request for Batch Transfer is not permitted. Participants who withdraw from the program or have been terminated will not be eligible to attend any future batches.
  4. You agree and acknowledge that in the event of your voluntary withdrawal or discontinuance from the Program, you LMS and any other learning logins created for you as part of the program will be blocked and removed.
  5. On any code of conduct violation or other exceptional circumstances, TalentSprint has the absolute discretion and the right to refuse service or terminate any participant from attending the further sessions. In such cases, TalentSprint will withhold any other benefits based on the nature of violation.
  6. By signing this document Participant accepts that you have read and understood the policy.
