The criteria adopted for selecting candidates in most companies are variable in nature. Many number of companies evaluate based on the academic performance of the candidate, and place requirements for minimum marks.
Most of the companies conduct a written test. An aptitude test is conducted ,that has questions on mathematics, English & reasoning. Some companies include technical questions in the test. Most companies conduct interview round for the candidates who qualify minimum academic performance criteria & also based on the performance in the written test. Interview round consists of separate HR & technical interviews. Few companies in addition to this conduct personality or psychometric test. Some companies conduct Group Discussion as a part of elimination round or in addition to Interview.
