National AI Olympiad is a one-of-its-kind initiative by TalentSprint, part of Accenture that aims to democratize access to AI awareness and readiness, helping every participant understand their starting point and the skills to build on next.
There are 3 Olympiads under NAIO 2025:
The National AI Olympiad will be conducted on 27 and 28 September, 2025. Participants can choose a preferred slot from the available options.
The Olympiad is a proctored online exam conducted via TalentSprint’s platform. Participants are required to share access to their camera, microphone, and screen during the exam.
NAIO goes beyond any other written exam. It combines an MCQ-based Olympiad Exam (Stage 1) with a hands-on project showcase (Stage 2), backed by mentorship from experts. It recognizes talent nationally and is tied to NEP, and India’s AI Mission—making it a future-defining opportunity.

You should register for NAIO – Foundation, designed for school students from Grades 6–12. Within NAIO – Foundation, there are two segments Grade 6 to 8 and Grade 9 to 12. You can choose one of these segments based on the grade you belong to.
Yes. University and College students across all streams and years are eligible to participate in NAIO – Advanced.
Yes. NAIO – Professional is open to all working professionals, whether from tech or non-tech fields.

The registration fee for the Olympiad exam as part of the National AI Olympiad is ₹500, which is inclusive of all taxes.
The registration fee (₹500) towards the Olympiad exam of the National AI Olympiad includes your attempt for the Olympiad exam. It also includes one couple of sample paper You can also additionally opt for a Prep Kit (by paying another ₹500) that includes study material to enhance your preparation for the Olympiad exam.
No, the Prep Kit is not included in the Olympiad Exam fee. You can opt for the Prep Kit by paying an additional ₹500. The Prep Kit includes study material to help you prepare for the Olympiad exam.
Yes. Registration for the National AI Olympiad is a simple two-step process:
Payment can be made through UPI, Credit cards, Debit cards and Net Banking
You will get access to TalentSprint’s platform immediately after completing your registration and payment for the National AI Olympiad.
You can book a preferred time slot from the available options using TalentSprint’s platform.
If you miss your chosen slot, you may be allowed to take the exam in another slot, subject to availability and at TalentSprint’s discretion.
You will retain access to the TalentSprint platform for 6 months after the completion of the National AI Olympiad.

Yes. You can opt for an add-on Prep Kit by paying an additional amount of ₹500. The Prep Kit includes study material in the digital format on TalentSprint platform. .
Stage 1 is a 90-minute online test with 50 multiple-choice questions.
Stage 2 is an exclusive track for top rankers of the Olympiad Exam (Stage 1). Participants of Stage 2 will get a chance to create projects with mentorship from TalentSprint and showcase to top Institutes and Corporates
The Olympiad exam (Stage 1) is 90 minutes long and has 50 multiple-choice questions.
The Olympiad exam will be conducted online in a proctored format, so you can participate from the convenience of your home.
Top rankers from Stage 1 will be invited to Stage 2. Selection is purely based on the Olympiad exam (Stage 1) performance, ensuring only the best move forward to the Hands-on Project (Stage 2).
Yes. Every participant of the National AI Olympiad will receive a Certificate of Participation.
At the end of the Olympiad Exam (Stage 1), participants will receive a detailed performance report benchmarking them at a School/College level, Zonal/Regional level and National level.
Top rankers of the National AI Olympiad (Stage 1 and Stage 2 combined) will earn Merit Certificates, Medals, and Trophies, positioning them as national achievers in AI. There are other exciting prizes including laptops, tablets and smart phones for the Olympiad winners.
Yes. When students or employees excel in the National AI Olympiad, their institutions / organizations gain national visibility and recognition for nurturing future-ready talent.
For professionals, a merit certificate from the National AI Olympiad is an industry-recognized credential that can enhance credibility at work, strengthen professional profiles, and demonstrate AI readiness to peers and employers.
The certificate is awarded by TalentSprint, part of Accenture, giving participants’ achievements strong industry-backed credibility.
You need a computer with regular internet connectivity. Given that the Olympiad exam will be proctored, you will be required to give access to your camera, microphone, and screen during the exam. Detailed instructions for the sample will be available on the TalentSprint platform.
The proctored exam system is designed to auto-save your responses in case of an internet or power outage. You can resume the exam from where you left off once you reconnect.
