TalentSprint launches Centre of Excellence for Financial Training (BFSI) at Indo Asian College

TalentSprint, a pioneer in creating high performance professionals for the IT and BFSI industry with centres in Hyderabad, Chennai and Bangalore, today launched “Centre of Excellence for Financial Training (BFSI)” at Indo Asian College in Kalyan Nagar, Bangalore. The COE was inaugurated by Mr. B.V. Naidu, Chairman, TalentSprint, Karnataka.Present on the occasion were Mr. Santanu Paul, Managing Director and CEO, TalentSprint and Mr. J. A. Chowdary, Executive Chairman, TalentSprint along with authorities from Indo Asian College.

The Banking, Financial Services and Insurance (BFSI) industry is one of the leading employers of fresh graduate talent in India. There are over 4.5Mn professionals working in the industry currently which is expected to more than double by 2020 (NSDC report on BFSI industry). The Industry looks for ‘job ready’ candidates and there is a large gap between what the Industry expects and what is presented to them. To bridge this gap, TalentSprint has designed and imparted various Skill Development programs enabling an individual to be job ready. The company has recently raised Rs 20 crores funding for Series A Equity Funding from Nexus Venture Partners.

According to Mr B V Naidu, Chairman TalentSprint Karnataka, said, “BFSI industry is one of the leading employers of fresh graduate talent in India. Around 7.5 lakh jobs are likely to be created in banking, finance and insurance space in next five years. TalentSprint a Partner of NSDC is planning to train over 200,000 entry level professionals by 2020 in this space.”

TalentSprint will train graduates to fit into various roles in BFSI segment apart from training aspirants for positions as probationary officers, management trainees and clerks to answer Common Written Exam (CWE). The programs that will be offered at the Center of Excellence – BFSI includes Bankers Choice: Bank Exam Preparation, Certification courses in the BFSI space and other industry readiness programs including Aptitude, Communication and Interview skills.
