About SSC NASSCOM

SSC NASSCOM, operational since 2012, is the skill standard setting body of the IT-BPM Industry; responsible for talent acquisition and transformation it is an integral part of NASSCOM, which works with its industry members and select academic and skill development institutions to help improve the quality and quantity of the employable workforce available to this industry.NSDC provides funding to build scalable, for-profit vocational training initiatives. Its mandate is also to enable support systems such as quality assurance, information systems and train the trainer academies either directly or through partnerships. NSDC acts as a catalyst in skill development by providing funding to enterprises, companies and organisations that provide skill training. It will also develop appropriate models to enhance, support and coordinate private sector initiatives. The differentiated focus for the 21 sectors under NSDC's purview and its understanding of their viability will make every sector attractive to private investment.

SSC NASSCOM’s Governing Council with representation from NASSSCOM, Government, NSDC, academia and IT-ITeS Industry sub-sectors, is an effective change management body and drives operational strategy and policy.

SSC NASSCOM’s secretariat has a pan India presence, collaborating with stakeholders to future proof the talent pool for this industry, making it relevel for Digital India and in anticipation of the IOT (Internet of Things) to come.
