Mr. A.S. Murty, the Chief Technical Officer, Mahindra Satyam, visited TalentSprint to spend some time with the management and trainees of TalentSprint. He spoke to the teams in Hyderabad and in Chennai, enabled through TalentSprint’s iPEARL technology (Interactive Platform for Employability and Remote Learning). Mr. J.A Choudary introduced Mr. A.S. Murty, and opened the session by talking about how in the last 30 years, he has changed his job only once. However this commitment worked very well for him in that he has learnt a great deal and reached the top.

A.S.M spoke about the changing face of technology - how the world is becoming smaller as a result of
technology compressing continents into a seamless unified team sharing projects 24 hours 7 days. This sharing of work between a global team in multiple different locations has made this exponential growth possible in the Indian IT industry.

He also spoke about customer delight and how it is different from mere customer satisfaction. He encouraged the young trainees to be passionate about their work and exceed the expectations of their employers and co-workers. The session with A.S.M was a good introduction on what first time professionals in the IT industry should expect from their first jobs and beyond.

The sessions were interactive, with both the Hyderabad and the Chennai teams asking pertinent questions about their careers in the IT industry.
