Hyderbad-based TalentSprint has recently launched employability focused training programmes at Anantapur in Andhra Pradesh, in partnership with Anantapur Development Initiative (ADI) Foundation, a non-profit organization.

ADI Foundation, conceptualized by eminent professionals from industry, administration and academia, seeks to build basic technical and communication skills amongst the youth in the area and expose them to opportunities in different sectors like IT, retail, textiles and construction. Sri Krishnadevaraya University, Anantapur (A.P., India) is identified as a nodal point for the initiative and provides the necessary infrastructure and facilities to cater to the training needs of the local youth.

The tie-up with TalentSprint, which has developed experiential learning programmes that are based on industry-designed curriculum, seeks to bridge the gap between prospective employers and unemployed young engineers in Anantapur area. The company mainly caters to the IT and BFSI (banking, financial services and insurance) sectors and also provides national and international certifications to students.

The programmes will be conducted using a combination of virtual and in-class delivery format. Software Testing Foundation programme is the first one to be launched. Apart from lectures, it will have exercises and hands-on experience with leading software tools. The programme also places intense focus on English language skills to ensure success for the trainees at the workplace.

“We see a growing need for software testers in the industry. By introducing our training programmes in Anantapur, we will be able expand the industry-ready entry level talent pool while promoting employability for the rural youth. Using a blended virtual and in-class delivery model, we seek to provide trainees with exposure to our best industry-experienced instructors while ensuring they get the personal attention they need to hone their testing skills.” says Dr. Santanu Paul, CEO and Managing Director at TalentSprint.

The programmes would be managed by Talent Sprint and conducted at the ADI Foundation premises in Anantapur.
